Three Months and Meeting Santa Claus

We can hardly believe that Leighton is three months old! Yesterday was her 3 month birthday! It really does seem like yesterday that we were getting our bags packed for the hospital. She is sooooo much fun at this age!

Here are some things she is doing:

- scooting in her crib- this is hilarious! We will put her to bed at the top of her crib, and by the morning she has scooted all the way to the bottom end! (We would love to catch this on camera!)

- holds onto things with her hands

- looooooves her Daddy

- does a great job holding her head up- we decided to put together her Exer-saucer and she has so much fun looking at the monkeys!

- wearing 3-6 months in clothes and size 1 diapers

- she enjoys her playpen

- still loves the lamb swing

- grins and laughs when she sees her reflection in the mirror

- loooooooves to talk "gah-bah-bloooo"

- likes to sit on our laps

- sleeps from about 8:30pm-7:30am

- still does not love to nap unless in something that lulls her to sleep like the swing or chair~ we are working on this, (I would rather sleep in a soft swing too) we are just thankful she goes to bed in her crib :)

We visited Santa last week at church!

We have a busy Christmas schedule ahead! I will be sure to take lots of pictures of everybody loving on the first grandbaby in each family!!!

Oh! By the way! We got even more snow last week! It melted quickly, but was so pretty coming down.
