We had a happy Thanksgiving this year! We kept it simple and stayed in town. I was sad because we didn't get to visit with my family, but thankfully Christmas is only a few weeks away and we will get to be with them all! We had a great time with the Bunting family on Thanksgiving day and came home to naps and some r&r. It was nice to be able to relax around the house and get our decorations up and just watch football (how about that WOLFPACK!!!!). We have had such an exciting holiday season thus far! John's sister, Beth, and her husband, also John, brought their first baby into the world today!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY John "Pierce" Hopkins!!! Born at 10:01am weighing 6lbs 13oz. We are so so so happy to welcome him to the family!!! My 32nd birthday was yesterday and we had the whole day planned! You know how that goes with kids....Lainey woke up sick!!! She has a stomach bug :/. She has been sick off and on for the past 2 days. So we canceled the sitter and had soup and butter rolls in front of the tv :). Sad story on Lainey's Baby comes here- she got sick all over her bed- and Baby just couldn't be salvaged...thankfully Baby's twin was for sale at Target for $10.99! Whew! I need to stock up on a Baby or 2 in my closet stash ;). We have plans for Disney on Ice for Leighton on Friday and my family's Christmas get-together is Sunday so we are praying this bug passes by quickly. Pictures of Baby Pierce to come soon!
