Lainey's 2 Month Well-Child Visit

We had Lainey's 2 month well-child visit on Thursday morning.  She did so well during her appointment, and even smiled at the doctor~ sweet girl!  She did have to get 3 shots which was very sad, but she snuggled into her car seat for a super long snooze afterwards.

Lainey at 2 months...

- you weigh 9 pounds 13.8 ounces (25-50th%)- you've gained 1 pound and 11.8 ounces since birth

- 22 1/4 inches long (50-75th%)- you've grown 2 1/4 inches since birth

- your head circumference is 15.4 inches (50th%)

We talked to your doctor about your naps during the day.  You are sleeping in your swing for naps, and your crib after your 7pm feeding until morning (waking for a 10pm feeding and one in the middle of the night).  We tried for a few days to get you to nap in your crib and our efforts were met with big time tears!  Mommy has decided that we might not push the crib issue until you are 3 or 4 months old for nap time.  We are thankful you go to bed there :).

Your fussy spells have gotten SO SO SO much better!  You seem to have a "normal" evening fussy time for the most part now.  Praise!  We usually get through your fussy time in the lamb chair or in Mommy's arms (in between feeding Leighton and Leighton's bath).  You just "follow" Leighton and I around in your little chair and this seems to relax you some.

It's so much fun to see how you've grown at our doctor visits!
