This summer John and I have each been able to take Leighton on mini beach getaways separately. We alternated so the other could stay home with Lainey :). Since they were such short little trips, we thought it made more sense just to take Leighton- especially since babies require so much packing! We are doing a big family vacay in a few weeks with all 4 of us :).
Her first trip was with John. They went to Atlantic Beach with his parents for a couple of days. Leighton had a great time! Mommy got lots of pictures to show it :). They played on the beach, and visited the aquarium! She told me, "I saw Nemo!! I saw Dori!!" Sweet girl!

This past weekend, Leighton and I loaded up and headed to Wrightsville Beach to visit Leslie and my family!

Leighton surely loves the beach!! We can't wait to take her and Lainey to Ocracoke in a few weeks!
