Fall Fun~ Pumpkin Patch, Fall Carnival, & Halloween

October has been busy, to say the least!  It's one of my favorite months of the year, and it is even more fun with little people in the house!!  Here are some pictures to capture what we have been up to over the past few weeks.  It sure has been lots of fun!

This past week they had a teacher appreciation luncheon at school.  Leighton was put in charge of cupcakes.  We did a pumpkin patch with cupcakes :).

On Sunday our church had their annual Fall Carnival.  We had a great time with friends~ eating hot dogs, decorating pumpkins, doing a cake walk, playing games, and taking a hayride!

On Thursday night we got together with our friends the Kennedy's and took the girls door to door in our neighborhood.  It was almost 75 out so Lainey couldn't be a strawberry in the beginning- she was a fleece variety ;).  I put on a cute pair of bloomers and a jack 'o lantern bib for the kick off and went with it!  After riding around in Matt & Ashley's mule and visiting about 10 houses, we brought Lainey home for bedtime~ John's mom, MaMoo, came over and kept her while we took Leighton to the annual Rook Halloween party at our friend's Bert & Jennifer's house.
