Lainey at 10 Months

I am a tad bit behind, but on December 15th, Lainey turned 10 months old!  It's so hard to believe that in 2 months we will be wishing her a happy 1st birthday.  She is such a fun little person at 10 months old!  Busy as can be and into everything!  She loves playing with Leighton and anything that Leighton is interested in :).  She is also super interested in the cats (much to their dismay)!

Lainey at 10 months...

~ you are crawling fast :), and pulling up!  You aren't "cruising" quite yet

~ you still do that funny thing where you "stand" on all four's and you now turn your head upside down too and look under your legs!  It is so funny!

~ you have learned to clap and wave bye-bye

~ you also say "bye-bye" (sometimes with a wave!), mama, dada, and bwa bwa (we think that is Belay ;)

~ you have cut your formula intake down to about 22 oz. per day- you would rather eat solids

~ you eat almost anything!  You love all of your baby foods and we will break most anything we eat into little pieces and feed it to you

~ you are learning to use your sippy cup- we need to practice this more since your birthday is quickly approaching!

~ you still only have 2 teeth, but I am almost positive that you are cutting teeth right now.  You have been super-cranky the past 3 days.

~ you wake up around 7:15am every morning, go down around 10:15am-12/12:30pm then again around 3:30pm or so until about 5pm.  This is such a strange nap schedule now- very late to me!  I feel like you are slowly transitioning to 1 nap and that you will keep pushing your morning nap back until it becomes your afternoon nap and lengthening it until you don't need that late nap anymore.  Hopefully soon!  This Mommy is getting no nap breaks again with you or sissy up all the time ;)!  You still go to bed around 7- or 7:15pm.

~ you love your new car that Santa brought you, your Jumperoo, the playroom, your walker is a favorite, and the playpen is not a favorite right now :(- you sob when I put you in!  I have been asking Leighton to play in there with you sometimes so I can get a few things done haha!

~ you are still in size 3 diapers

~ you are wearing mostly 9 months clothes, some are still 6 months, some are even 12 months~ such a range depending upon brand!  I would say you are true to size for the most part :).  With tiny feet like Mommy and Leighton!
