At 7 Months

I completely forgot to write about Leighton at 7 months on my last post. Ooops! At 7 months Leighton...

- sits up all by herself

- says, "da-da-da" allllll the time!

- wears 6-9 month clothes, as well as some 9-12 month clothes

- wears size 3 diapers

- scoots around in circles very easily and can scoot forward and back just a bit

- has 2 bottom teeth, and is working on her top teeth!

- still has very little hair ;)

- is on 2 naps per day: 9am and 1pm (usually napping a total of 3-3 1/2 hours)

- still eating 3 meals per day, and she gets milk 4 times per day, once with each meal, and at 3pm

- eats sweet potatoes (a favorite), peas, green beans (greens are a not-so-favorite), carrots, mixed veggies, squash, corn, pears, peaches, bananas, strawberries, and apples/applesauce

- has successfully eaten 1/2 of a banana puff!

- still sleeps all night; 7pm-6:30am

- gives kisses (with her mouth wide open- haha- slobbery, but sooooo sweet!)

- loves going on walks

- loves riding in the car

- has had her 1st virus

On April 4th, we visited the pediatrician for her 6 month check-up. Here are her stats (from nearly 1 month ago):

- 15 pounds 6 ounces; 25-50th percentile (on Wednesday we went for a follow-up and, with clothes on, she was 17 pounds!)

- 26 1/4 inches (25-50th percentile)

- Head circumferences: 17 inches (50-75th percentile)

What a great joy Leighton continues to be! Every day is more and more exciting :). I go to bed at night thinking about how I can't wait to go get her from her crib in the morning! We love you little Leighton!!!
