Thanksgiving Tales
This Thanksgiving was surely a testament to the many blessings we have to count. We kicked off the Thanksgiving extravaganza at the Bunting's house on Thursday afternoon. John's family, along with my Naddy, mom and sister Abby all gathered together for a feast and some fun! John and his cousin's all love to play basketball. I'm a good cheerleader! Leighton did a little bit of cheerleading, and a little bit of ball playing that day...

On Friday I ventured out with all the "crazies" to go shopping for a deal! I got Leighton a DVD player for the car- trust me this was a lifesaver on the almost 3 hour drive to visit my family! On Saturday morning we loaded up bright and early and headed to Raleigh to drop John off at the State game. Leighton and I continued on to visit my family. We had a little bit of an eventful weekend with a sick baby, but we came through alright :)! We had a lovely dinner with my family in the Piedmont on Sunday, then hit the highway for home that evening. Needless to say, we are all still recovering from a busy weekend of travels, fabulous food, and most importantly time with those we love! Thankful this year for the many things He has blessed our nest with!
