Farewell 2011!

We thought 2010 was our best year ever...then came 2011!  Our first full year with the love of our lives, Leighton Dare.  It was a year full of new experiences, happiness, lots of love, lots of laughter- full of the things that matter in life.  Here is a recap... a year in the life of the Roberson family~

In January...

Leighton turned 4 months old

we promised our sweet girl to our Heavenly Father at the end of January

In February...

we were full of love- for each other and this sweet one!!

In March...

Leighton enjoyed her first experience with solid food

we visited Ocracoke Island

And on March 20th Leighton turned 6 months

In April...

the Easter Bunny came!

as did the Boo Boo Bunny on her 7 month birthday :(

In May...

Leighton had her first beach experience

we enjoyed this special coastal trip with dear friends!

and Leighton turned 8 months

In June...

she took her first swim!

became quite the busy girl~ pulling up in her crib

and she turned 9 months!

oh what FUN!

In July...

Leighton had her first 4th of July at the Rivah!

Daddy turned 31

we had our first family beach trip

In August...

Page & Justin were married

Hurricane Irene made a mess :(

and our sweetie pie turned 11 months!

In September...

we celebrated Leighton's 1st birthday!!!

and cheered on the Pack!!!

In October...

Leighton learned to walk

we had a happy fall y'all!

Leslie & Zack were married!!!

In November...

we were thankful for our many, many blessings

In December...

we were amazed by the love we feel for this sweet baby

and are so thankful for the love we have for a baby King born in a manger many, many years ago.    

2011 you have been quite a year!  God has been so GOOD and has BLESSED us beyond measure!  In 2012 we resolute to GIVE as He does, to LOVE as He does, to be THANKFUL as He is, and to PRAISE Him in all we do!  Happy New Year from our home to yours!
