Happy 1 Month Lainey!

It's so hard to believe this little person is 1 month already!  

Lainey at 1 month you...

...look up to your big sister already :)

...like to nap most in your swing, car seat, and on Daddy's chest

...have the cutest smile

...and the cutest cry- we have really gotten to know your cry because you are a tad bit colicky these past 2 weeks- you cry anywhere from 1 hour a day, up until 4 hours on and off some days.  We are trying lots of different things now to figure out what calms you and eases your fussiness :(

...are very snugly :)

...sleep well at night on the nights you are not fighting colic :)- the nights that you are tend to be long nights, and we feel so bad for you and just want to make you all better!

...are so easy to take in public

...might look a little like Mommy and Daddy both!

...lost your umbilical cord last week

...eat 7 times a day on average, waking once at night to eat

...like going on family walks 

...had your first church visit last week and slept the entire service in Mommy's arms

You are such a sweet girl!  We have loved watching you grow this past month and cannot wait to get to know you even more!  Happy 1 month Lainey!

I had to throw this one in :)!  Leighton's favorite thing to be lately is a ballerina.  She loves to put on this little get-up!  Naddy made the tutu and gave her the matching bow and her friend Ava Todd gave her the Barbie "darlings" (*that's what we call dress up shoes in our family!)
