Ocracoke Trip
In August, we loaded up the truck and headed further east to the Outer Banks, specifically Ocracoke Island. John's Aunt Trudy and Uncle Wayne, as well as his cousin Bert and his wife Sara, own the Edwards of Ocracoke- a quaint collection of bungalows and cottages on the island. They also rent out 2 houses- the Baby Duck and the Lucky Duck. We were the lucky family to have the Baby Duck the week beginning August the 24th. We had the time of our lives! My dad and his wife Amy joined us for the first few days of the trip in one of the Edwards cottage bungalows, then we finished out the week as a family of four. Ocracoke is one of my favorite places in the world- the quiet, far away island is filled with laid-back good 'ol beach people. No fuss, no frills- just relaxation! I have uploaded a ton of photos! I just don't want to forget a moment of this special trip.

| One of my favorite things about Ocracoke is that you can drive your vehicle on the beach- makes for easy with 2 little ones! |
